I need a trainer to evaluate my dog
Contact us and make an appointment for one of us to take a look. If there is any aggression or biting involved, you will need to schedule an Aggression Evaluation with the Training Director.
Do you provide boarding?
Because Partners is a training facility we do not provide traditional boarding. However Holiday Camp, which is a year round program, will allow your dog to receive obedience training as well as hours of play time and socialization each day that you are away.
Can I see your Training?
Of course! We encourage you to come and observe training. Weekdays, training sessions are in the mornings.
The best day to see classes would be a Saturday. On Saturdays we have all of our group classes, including Obedience, Agility and Flyball. Classes start promptly at 8:00 AM.
If you are planning on visiting the school and would like a tour of the facility please call the office and schedule an approximate time. This way we can ensure a staff member will be available to assist you.
If you are visiting just to see a class, you do not need an appointment.

What will my dog learn there?
Each course we offer is structured to fit the individual needs of both dog and owner. Upon enrolment in any of our camps a trainer will discuss with you in detail the goals you would like to achieve with your dog. Building a strong foundation is necessary when establishing control with your dog. The basic commands taught are HEEL, SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME and FREE. By teaching these commands we are building your dogs foundation. Besides learning obedience your dog will also learn how to play with other dogs or how to socialize.
What do the dogs do during the day?
During the day the dogs spend anywhere from 5-7 hrs running, playing and socializing. Also, depending on which program your dog is in they receive ½ hour to 1 ½ hours in one on one training sessions with an instructor.
What age must my dog be?
We believe puppies should be trained from the time you get them. However, they cannot be placed in a group environment with other dogs until they have had their vaccinations and their immune system is strong enough.
If you are having problems, and your puppy is younger than 4 months, we suggest a private session in your home.
Otherwise schedule a session at our school.
If enrolling in Camp or Classes, about 6 months of age is best.
There is no maximum age, and many of the dogs we work with are six to ten years old.
Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks!
What vaccinations are required?
All dogs coming to Partners MUST be vaccinated, including kennel cough. We also require a copy of their certificates for our records.
Check with your vet on the details.
Are all dogs trainable?
Yes, the problem is that while we can train pretty much any dog, risk creates situations where a client may feel the cost is not worth it.
Over the past 20 years, and more than 27,000 dogs, we have encountered maybe a dozen that fit that category.
It must be kept in mind that some dogs are more "behaviorally challenged" than others.
This means more time, effort and expense.
But we will not turn away a dog that could use our help.
We know for many dogs, we are their last hope.
Unlike almost any school in the Valley, we don't just quit when things get tough.
So if you have a dog that has been
